Great start :o you show a small part of the world's philosophy and the place of the character in it.
It already raises various questions: why is Riordan the one to blame? Shouldn't be his mother/father?
What exactly does "unworthy" mean in this world?
Art-wise, this is gorgeous <3 LOVE flower and hair details. I wouldn't have patience to draw them.. X'D

For the Swanns, anything NOT pure sheepdog is unworthy i.e not even considered family or worth treating as such. The mere fact that Riordan's parents decided to be together to have a hybrid child was already unacceptable to them. So, even if it's not his fault, Riordan gets the consequences of his parents' doing. Will look to explaining things more clearly in (hopefully) future comics!
