Re-make of a old char from 05. Was named Rose (had a rose like spot on her arm) but I'm renaming her Prim :3 cus I always liked it for some odd reason.
But yeah years back there was a farm inland that had vanners and one had freckly spots mostly on the shoulders. Gone now thou so no more road trips that way. :(
I FAIL at clothes, so she's my guinea pig, she'll almost always be clothed (odd for one of my characters) cuz she's ya know...a clothes horse...*cough*. Hopefully practice will help me get at least passable folds.
Drew this days ago out at the fire work tent, but just finished it. I hate my scanner I had to edit shades so much in photoshop so now my grey looks odd..and its still not right..merf :/

I like her. Not only does she have a pretty face, but she has nice big clompy hooves. I love a girl with big hooves :D
And gypsies are beautiful anyway.
Also, your clothing looks pretty good to me. The purplish part of her bodice looks a little flat, but everything else is nice and foldy and shaded to reflect the nature of the wrinkles.
Perhaps you should draw more of Miss Prim!

Yeah I was going to attack the bodice with a gold gel pen in a crisscross pattern to give it some shape but didn't want to rune the whole thing trying something I'm not used to haha. and I plan on drawing her lots, Ungulates in general are to lovely not to draw often for me haha.

Have I told you how much of a fan I am of your traditional work? This piece is beautiful! I love the lighting effect and color scheme you used. It's got a very vintage feel to it.
