This creature can be found in tide pools around the world.A common sight, they mainly prey on small crabs, snails, or the occasional fish that get trapped in the pools. They generally grow no bigger than your hand, although there have been rare instances of larger ones. They are unaffected by the pounding waves. This was something that came from an assignment in drawing class a while back. In the assignment, you had to create a creature that was a combination of two existing animals, draw it, and give a quick blurb about what it was. This was also the first time in my life that I had such a crystal clear mental image of what I wanted to draw. I would close my eyes and see what I eventually ended up making. The image I drew is practically no different than what I saw in my head. I haven't experienced anything like that before or since, and it came with a seemingly endless well of motivation. I needed to draw it and get it out of my head, and I knew I had the skills to do it. I've learned everything necessary either in that class or classes I've taken before it. It was, truly, a rush. I look at it today and it's still a source of pride for me. And I think it will be for the foreseeable future.
I hope you all can enjoy it as much as I do.
