As I had hoped, this experience is proving to be most enjoyable, all things considered. My dominant hand was largely undamaged in the fall, and thus, I am able to record my thoughts with only a modicum of pain. A small price to pay! In addition, the excess of idle time I have been given has allowed me to pursue the art of illustration, something I have always been fond of, but often lack the time to indulge.
So it is my thought to pair these entries with renditions of the surrounding sights, though I imagine my initial endeavors will leave much to be desired as far as accuracy is concerned.
Nonetheless, for this first such entry, I shall include a drawing of the Viera known as Rael.
She appears to be the leader of the Wood-Warders here, and has been the one to enumerate the rules I must abide by.
From my limited meetings with her, she has struck me as a most capable leader. She is stern and to the point, but not without a subtle edge of compassion to her voice. Her patience in regards to my questions has proven most forgiving, and she carries an air of respect that judging from the other Viera reactions, cannot be one formed out of fear. Her helm covers the majority of her face, a shame as I have the impression she must be incredibly captivating. A beauty that no doubt belies her fiercely capable nature.
Meet Rael!
The experienced and wise Wood Warder of the Viera.
Battle hardened and not one to be shaken easily, she is both a formidable leader and warrior in equal measure.
But her age has also brought understanding, and the hot blooded younger Viera aspire to one day gain a fraction of her composure and compassion.
Nevertheless, she is cautious about outsiders, believing them to be frivolous, impulsive creatures. The antics of humes are of no concern to her, and it would be wise not to pursue her attention should she not desire it!
