"A BirthdayDay is a Very Dangerous Day..."

So today, on the 12th of August, it's my best friend's Birthday, and so regardless of being a bit busy, I've decided to make him a little something.

Me and him talked about the recent trailer for the Rocko's Modern Life reboot, and we had quite mixed feelings on it, because it seemed to try too hard to be current, hip, and make a bunch of really simple, run-of-the-mill jokes about our modern world........ So guess it was on my mind, and I figured I'd draw him and his doggie in the style of Rocko's Modern Life.

I confess that as I worked on this, time and time again I grew doubtful if I was doing this right, but I just kept looking at the one raccoon from the show, Nosey, and... yeah, guess this is how a raccoon from that universe looks like, heh:

Originally I intended to add my gecko to the picture, but as many version as I drew, nothing looked right, so I dropped the idea.

So anyways, a happy birthday dear friend, may you continue on to do many other great things, and be an example to us all!
