hello all, Sedric A. Dragon here, standing in for Blue Badger here in the commentary box
So errrm....
Blue, whilst staying at mine, told me he'd show me how easy it is to whip up a track in [name of software that I've forgotten]. So after a cursory search for a drumloop he set about whipping up bassline, organ line etc, a few horn stabs and so on, bit of flute. You get the idea. I thought it was good enough that he should stick it on FA, which is why we're here now
Awesome title courtesy of me

Well he'd be right, it isn't very complex! I was just demoing, as per the commentary, how easy it is to knock up any old tune in a piece of sequencing software (in fact, it rather irritates me that a lot of music uploaded to FA is simply what i've done here in 10 minutes - just a drum beat looped with a load of synths).
Good sequencing requires a lot more than what i've done here (taken a loop, recorded parts and quantised them to death).

Gah! Quantitisation (or however you spell it) scared me when I first came across it in high school on cubase. Admittedly, some of my music tracks are simple loops in garageband, though I've stopped doing that now, in favour of exploring my own compositions, just utilising the power of the programme that it provides me.
Feels good to make something so quick though ;)
