As you may know by now, the actor David Carradine died last week in Bangkok. This photo of him was taken at the 1984 San Diego Comic Convention, Rabbi_Tom and I were helping Topfox staff the Don Bluth Productions table at the convention when Carradine and his wife at the time, Barbara Seagull, stopped by for a brief chat. I shook his hand, and he threw me across the room in slow motion. :) (Carradine's father, John, was the voice of the Great Owl in Don Bluth's The Secret of NIMH.)
That was the same convention where met Lux Interior, the lead singer of The Cramps, who died last February (re "Me and Lux").
