Moth: Good. I wouldn't want you to be dissatisfied. *looks him over* You seem to have accepted the changes well.

hehe, well i've kinda wanted to be a dog since i was 5 so, hard to not be rather happy about the changes

Moth: *grins* This is so strange for me. I've never cast a transformation spell on anyone that brought them joy before. It feels sort of nice.

perhaps you should invest more into casting spells to bring joy. or at least keep a look out for others like me ^^

Moth: *absentmindedly plays with her bell* I'll consider it

Moth: *curiously* That's all? Mortals are usually greedier than that.

i mean, i could be greedier if you'd like, but i mean, i made some nice new friends, i'm a dog person, and i think i made your life a little bit happier, what else could i ask for that wouldn't just be ridiculous?

Moth: Oh, it wasn't a complaint, darling. It just caught me off guard.

Lady Moth, do you keep up with human technology at all? Would you be interested in seeing some things human scientists have developed?

Miss Moth, at what point do you consider that it is good to transform a person into some kind of animal?

Well well, it's Moth! Good to see the faer lady in good health. I have to say, I very much enjoyed meeting Lester and Kitty, after all. I'm still curious what the specifics were to make them owe you so much. Did you flip the deal around on them somehow, or did they simply ... misunderstand the price?

Acrathia: And the grouchy whale man, don't forget the grouchy whale man.

Moth: Ah, yes, my dear, but he was never meant to be a hybrid. I failed to account for the effects of salt water on transformation magic. It was a rookie mistake.

Acrathia: oh truly? I thought you intentionally changed him from your initial whale curse to hybrid form, that he may kidnap Charlotte and as incentive that you may restore him fully if he is obedient.

Moth: *leans in conspiratorially* I've allowed him to believe that was the case, but it was a misstep on my part. I simply made lemonade from lemons.

Acrathia: Ah yes when in doubt improvise

Moth: I'm sure you've had to be just as resourceful?

Acrathia: Oh yes love, I remember at one point when I was not at my strongest a group of villagers who were angry that I had changed a few of their own to various animals managed to surround me and prevent my escape. They thought that by killing me their loved ones would revert to normal, so what do I do? Convince them that by killing me the others would be stuck in their forms. In the end they made a pact with me that if they spared my life I would return the others to their human state, and that if they broke their vow a terrible curse would befall all of them. It's a good example of one of those cut your losses and run situations I spoke of earlier.

Moth: *nods as she listens* It sounds like you made the best decision available, given the circumstances. I do find mortal gullibility to be quite the helpful out when things get complicated.

Acrathia: Funny enough, my death would not have changed them back, but it would have made the bindings and magical traps I had placed on the spell worthless, which at that point a simple hedge wizard could have undone it.

Moth: *smirks* Isn't that the way of it?
