Realistic Shaded Tailcon (Tail Icon!) for
AmaryllisTheDutchie featuring Amaryllis the Dutch Angel Dragon!A commission, on deployment? Gasp! Amaryllis happened to catch me at a great time early on when I shipped out, and this was great to work on in between the multitude of other Tailcons and Ref Sheets! This just makes me super excited to keep working on projects for some upcoming YCH Auctions and my first big Commission Batch when I RTHP! :D
I definitely haven't done a darker piece in a hot minute, so this was fun to paint! Amaryllis is a fallen Dutch, and I really wanted to capture that dark, sullen feeling with the more muted, darkened tones, and to make it look like the tip of his extra-long tail is all one sees as he slips back into the darkness, preparing to strike...
