Oh gosh, I'm not great at shading, it's a lot of following the contours of the form. I actually shade backwards, instead of laying down shade, I fill it entirely with shade and then wipe away where I don't want it.

Aaaah, I see what you mean here! Do you use any sort of paintbrush where you paint with transparency, or do you use an eraser?

I set my shade layer to multiply, then paint with white to erase, since using white on a multiply layer just makes it transparent

I've always been curious, whats the appeal of balloons and inflatable pool toys? Or is it one of those fetishes where you go "No idea why I like this!"

To kill the potential drama before it starts, I'm not hating! Just curious! c: I have my own collection of strange fetishes that I don't know why I like them, I just do.

I can't speak for others, but the texture of pooltoys is nice to me, i like the shine, the feel, the sound it makes, the tautness of the material based on how much air is inside. Just that full feeling, I think, round and squishy and nice. Honestly I prefer things to be filled with liquid so they're heavy and squishy, but I receive similar appeal from air-filled creatures too. I also really enjoy how the material creases and folds. My enjoyment of inflatables is very technical in nature, I find them very enjoyable to draw.

Any idea as to why? Like you, I enjoy liquid inflation. The weight of it, how I think it'd feel, the way it'd be shaped, etc is all stuff I *really* like about liquid and solid based (eg eggs) inflation. But I could never tell you why those things turn me on.

Mmm... that I don't know that I could adequately put words to. I don't know that there's a real reason that I like it... I just... do x3 Like, the opposite effect of nails on a chalkboard, it gives me good shivers.

To be honest, I think all of my personal fetishes are secretly desires to suddenly become a whale. Species change, growth/inflation, rubbery skin. Pooltoys are a nice substitute.

More generally, I like the uncontrollable aspect of it. Something else is in control of my body and I can't stop it. Of course, deep inside, I *want* this to happen to me, but it's more fun to resist the change. The huge size is inconvenient but powerful. On the other side of the coin, inflicting these changes on somebody else has a more dominant or empowering aspect to it. I like both

Personally, I like growING or inflatING. Some people like the submissiveness of it, perhaps to the point of being an unthinking toy. Some people like the rape-like violation of form. Some literally just want to be a thing that brings happiness to others. Most scenarios are impossible in real life, and I think having a balloon or pooltoy fetish is a good proxy for other fetishes (I can't turn you into a giant whale, but I CAN inflate this pooltoy!)

But yeah. It's weird and I know it's weird. My porn folder is like a joke because I know most people would just look at it and say "Why is this even IN here?"

I absolutely understand this. A lot of my commissions are based around me being unable to change the situation at hand, but secretly (and sometimes not so secretly) wanting it and enjoying whatever is happening.

Thank you very much! You did an excellent job on this. The shading and the shininess turned out well and the details are just delicious! I love the expression on my face. You can see that he's fighting it but knows inside that he's losing. Everywhere you look you can find something going on.
