That's the way my arcade cabinet was. I don't really play the game, but I loved getting it working.
If I ever get into this hobby, I'll have to do it in stages: get the radio first, and run demos for a while. ($200) Then get the 'copter, and just fly it line-of-sight. ($200-300) Then finally get the goggles, FPV camera and GoPro. ($300-700)
...or maybe just watch other people play with them on YouTube 'till I get bored of it. :D
