A quick test from the other animation I'm currently working on. Trying to see how much the new Cycles denoise filter in Blender 2.79 helps, and holy heck it sure does a good job in removing noise for low render times! How did Blender do without it all those years?
This is entirely unrelated to the animated film I previously announced: It's a separate project I'm working on and likely to finish during the next few months! More exclusive renders of it are available on the same page though, whereas the final animation will be up for everyone to watch once it's finally released.
