Hypno goggles commission for
Guffy
Guffin brought the box to her desk, eager to see what it could contain. It had shown up at her door with no listing on it or return address. Along side it was a letter that simply stated, “From one genius to another, as a token of admiration. What could the harm be, Guffin thought.
She folded open the lid and removed the packaging.
Inside the was what looked to be one of those new VR goggles, it seemed to be a high end model too! Curious, Guffin gently pulled them out. She turned it over in her hands, the foxdeer inspecting the sleek yet flimsy piece of tech. It consisted of a pane of nanotech glass with a strap attached to it. Might as well try it out, she thought.
Bringing it up over her head, she slid the visor down over her eyes, securing the strap around her head, making sure that her ears weren’t in the way. They sat like a pair of large glasses over the foxdeer’s nose. It seemed rather silly, especially since she didn’t see an on switch.
“Maybe its voice activated?”
A bright flash from the visor blinded Guffin, causing her to reel backwards and land in the chair. Blinking rapidly to clear the remnants of light from her eyes, she shook her head surprised by the flash. Once she was able to see again, her sight was filled with the bright colors of the visor. Hexagonal shaped rings flowed into the center of the glass, shrinking upon each other before disappearing. A blue ring followed by a pink hexagon then a purple ring and back to blue again.

The foxdeer’s eyes tracked the hexagons into the center of the visor, unable to pull away. She was confused but couldn’t bring herself to pull them for fear that she wouldn’t understand their purpose. A bright ring of blue flashed before her eyes.
Watch the hexagons, love the colors.
She nodded her head without even realizing it. She really did want to keep watching those rings, and she couldn’t help but notice their lovely colors. Honestly there was nothing else she needed to do at the moment. She could afford to spend some more time admiring these wonderful hexes. This time there was a bright pink flash.
With every hexagon that disappears, so too does your will.
Well obviously, why else would Guffin have been wearing these pretty color makers? She could’ bring herself to care much about anything other than doing what she was told, and that was to watch the hexagons. Another flash played across her captivated eyes, this time it was purple.
Trust Cassandra.
Guffin started to feel like she was sweating. It must be getting hot in here, she thought. Or maybe Im just thinking of Cassandra again. That brought a smile to her face. The more she thought about it, the more Guffin couldn’t think of why she had ousted Cassandra from the business. Sure she was trying to take it over Guffin’s business, but perhaps she was trying to do the right thing? Maybe it would’ve been better to step aside and let her take the reigns. Three rapid flashes of blue, pink, and purple, had the foxdeer drooling from her mouth.
Forgive Cassandra, Trust Cassandra, Obey Cassandra.
Guffin knew she couldn’t stay mad at Cassanova, she was clearly smart and a trustworthy employee. The foxdeer knew she should defer to Cassandra’s opinions and suggestions. It all made so much sense! She reached over her desk clumsily, and picked up her phone, knowing just the girl to call.
