Depends on what you think "adult" means. Apparently, to some people, in-story fictional characters (that's a fictional character in a fictional work, that's fiction squared you punch drunk idiots) are somehow too close to "children". It almost makes sense, as long as you can turn off the logical, thinking part of your brain at will.
This is despite the fact that, as cartoon characters, they may never appear any older. How old is mickey mouse? Is he his depicted age or is he 89 years old (Steamboat Willie 1928)?
Oh shit, this got dark, Karno, do your cartoon characters age in canon? Or are they like the Tiny Toons gang, constantly stuck the same age and in the same school? FurAffinity has strict rules against cub artwork, and I can see their reasons for it. I didn't look up the specifics of that rule until just now....

Personally, I think the age limit of 18 is too high, but I can see the argument that the characters in Reform School Boys might be 16 or 17. I may have to join Karno's Patreon now.

I'm not in contention with the rule, it's for the site's protection. But the bodies presented in the work in question are obviously not "childlike" in any way.

The setting putting those characters in a school is the only evidence that they aren't fully "adults" if you assume that the cartooniverse Henry is in doesn't have adult schools. Yeah, Age of Consent in the U.S. is generally 15 or older, and varies by State. My home State, Connecticut, has one of the most complicated pack of regulations. In many states, kids can get married at a year of more younger than AoC. WTF?

Hmmmm. I think I made a mistake, in that the disclaimer I now see refers to the clicker being over 18. Could have sworn there was something about the images there.
On the other hand, I did look at 18 USC 2257A(b)(1). There's a federal requirement (if you're doing stuff with "real" folks) that you ascertain the true age of the performers. (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2257A) Now, obviously, that doesn't apply to your characters (meantersay, how do you ask The Mink what her age is?). However, I think there is a broad point to be made that you, the artist, do not draw characters that are intended to be under the age of 18 AND that engage in activities that are not lawful. I think you know what I mean on that point (one could make arguments about certain states' age of consent).
I'll do some more digging and see if I can find precedent for a "nothing shown here depicts folks under the age of 18." But in general, I think a boiler-plate provision regarding 18 years of age and over for depicted characters, as annoying as that might be, might be an idea.
