Michael Afton AKA Mike the Chopper, is a serial killer Joey comes across very early in his career as a police officer. So early in fact that he barely survives, and only because Remi and the police rescue him. They were following the trail of the disappearances that lead to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza being closed, and the trail ends with a creepy serial killer with purple skin. All evidence seized lead practically nowhere, all they know is he was involved somehow.

And of course it's only a matter of time before he escapes from jail and runs back to the Pizzeria.

He's part Fox because he's British. The thought process went like this:
The voice of "Mr. Afton" at the start of Sister Location is different from the one of Michael at the end of Golden Freddy mode. But it's either British or Scottish, because it sounds like an evil Sean Connery (to me anyway.)
Mugendal doesn't technically have humans, but what's the closest thing? Vulpines. That way they could still keep the same accent.
So it's a process of elimination.

As it's a retelling, I want my versions of things like the Purple Guy to be unique, and based off of the theories that I subscribe to. And a bit of the roots of the Purple Guy as this creepy, scary murderer, even if there's more to it than that.

Obviously an inspiration is Barry the Chopper from FMA, but also David Near's Purple Guy voice and the Silver Eyes version of William, where his father is the only (?) killer. But since I wanted a bit of "creepy sinister British guy" vibes as well, David Tennant as the Purple Man/Kilgrave in Jessica Jones, (something I only heard about once) is a huge source of inspiration. The best way to think of it is David Tennant is the "starting point," that I'm attempting to draw and probably failing, and the character ends up somewhere else rather than a perfect likeness.

The problem with drawing David Tennant is the hair, and the fact that his face is kind of plain apart from a pair of scary eyes. As Sister Location revealed, the Purple Guy has a completely different hairstyle. Actually, it's a dead spit for the guy who plays the Day Guard in Cold Storage. And Rick Astley, apparently.

Oh, hey, before I go, uh, I wanted to ease your mind about any rumors you might have heard lately. You know how these local stories come and go and seldom mean anything. I can personally assure you that, whatever is going on out there, and however tragic it may be, has nothing to do with our establishment. It's just all rumor and speculation... People trying to make a buck. You know... Uh, our guard during the day has reported nothing unusual. And he's on watch from opening til close.

One of these days, this guy is gonna need a Father...

Oh, and the writing at the bottom is the lyrics to Markiplier's songs he sung at the end of the Custom Nights. I just felt like it.
