It's easy actually; if someone refreshes the page then it counts as another view. I found that out when I kept going back to where Kimmy had posted the commissions I had her do looking through the comments on them.

I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly here, but:
"if someone refreshes the page then it counts as another view" wouldn't explain how there could be LESS views than there are favs.
I might just be missing something here, but still.

Actually, now that I think about it. It's my fault.
I accidentally hit favorite, but thought I'd missed and clicked again, removing it from favorites, then I added it again.
