Winning contest entry for one of Puerto Rico's furry groups over on Facebook!

I chose a Puerto Rican parrot as the species as I wanted to pick something local. I didn't wanted to pick a coqui as it as a model to start on is burnt out. I also wanted to practice drawing avians and this is what I came up with!

I didn't wanted to go too overboard with the design as I wanted it to be somewhat simple yet appealing. So I messed with the clothes. I carefully thought of the color palette for the outfit until I thought of the flag! Puerto Rico's flag consists of white red and blue. So I went on with that and then took into consideration some of the clothing people wear here. I wasn't going to put a pop-culture reference shirt as it would deviate from what I wanted as a final result. So I went with a sorta suburban yet modernized outfit of a tank top, loose jeans and converse-like shoes

Also, look at the shoes.. they're the flag's stripes.. AAA I'm so proud!!
