well at least you have a giraffe that looks true to life and naturally colored, I always try drawing more or less real animals, while most furries have hmmm cartoony? or just flat-colored designs and sometimes it's hard to keep characters recognizable in my art

Thank you! I wanted my giraffe to have a more realistic look to her. Same with my Snow Leopardess, and the rest of my Sonas, for that matter. Some of the crazy colors and patterns, that people give to their Sonas, can be pretty overwhelming, sometimes. Especially for someone who is trying to draw them, I'm sure!
The only SONA I have that isn't realistically colored, is Ian Sands, my Otter: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22809463/ But even my Wood Gryphon has correct coloring, to his species... Well griffins are supernatural creatures so I believe they can be any color (but I wouldn't wish upon myself drawing all those patterns, yeah...xD) WHile the otter is quite harmonic :3
