I was going to give him trinkets, bracelets and feathers on his person, but they wouldn't be functional. As a fighter, if it's not functional, it gets in the way. I just stuck with the basic archer idea.
Arrows/Darts are supposed to be green, scanner ate it up though. I thought the green arrows was a neat idea; they blend in with the tall grass when they stick out of a corpse which = less attention from enemies during covert or stealth situations.
The marking on the shoulder of the shirt is a guide for the Lehnadrad so he knows if his snout will get in the way of the bowstring. Anyone who's ever been hit by a bowstring knows where I'm coming from. Insignia on breast indicates the echelon of tribes that he belongs to.
