WHO ELSE BUT QUEEN GRIDDLE
I mean, the reason she wants to marry off Flame so much is not only, of course, for a rich husband, her not to end as a spinster (Middle Ages) and because she is the heir so she wants her to give birth to her own heirs, but the reason she wants her to have heirs is also because she wanted to be a grandmother so bad (at this moment nobody knew Blaze and Burnevere would have Mairead and Iagan years later). So when Princess Flame ended up to marry Sir Flicker (who had greatly helped Camelhot and everyone found out he was the greated of Camelhot and not Loungelot all this time) she was so happy she finally married someone who sure wasn't rich but who was heroic (and was super mad at Loungelot), finally relieved to see her stepdaugther got married in time, but from the wedding night to the day the newly married couple officially anounced they were gonna be parents, Griddle, elated at the idea of being a grandma, would spy on them listening to the wall, impatient for them to make an egg ; and also, pervy as she is, to be sure they are doing it right.
Also poor, poor Allfire with who Griddle felt the need to share her comments. He wanted to sleep, had never been a voyeur, and furthermore the last thing he wanted to hear about was his daughter being fucked by someone, even if he liked Flicker he still didn't want to know what they were doing.
