except i don't think it's a particularly dumb idea, especially when the furries are meant to interact with a human-analogue society

i mean i get why in zootopia and kevin & kell they all have to be barefoot - the animals have feral states and they need to switch to them when necessary and they're all proportionate to their real-world sizes - but in something like bojack horseman or crash bandicoot, where the furries are the exact same size as human characters, it doesn't make sense since you've already stripped the animals of a feral switch
