What the EASO website doesn't mention is that most of those deaths are caused by cancer -- not by complications of obesity itself. In addition, as the cancer.gov website points out, there's no solid evidence to indicate that losing weight improves your chances, meaning that there may be another factor related to both obesity and cancer that is not currently acknowledged. (There's a few indications, but nothing concrete as of yet.)

Considering the pic is labeled "vore", I'd tend to agree with you. Sadly, it doesn't matter much to the argument, but it is important in any actual discussion of the picture.
