The painting took much longer than I expected, but I'm pretty satisfied with the final image.

Painted digitally using my trusty Wacom Intuos3. The background is the Precepts of Kakemna and Precepts of Ptah-hotep in Egyptian Hieratic script. Stock parchment texture taken from https://www.sxc.hu.
