Here is the bio for the only male character so far, fighting to keep Neolythia safe. Rather more will be added, I'm still not sure. I do hope to try and make this bio updated, from time to time. Though depends if anyone will come back to this one, heh.

Name: Michael Shaw

Species: Folf

Superhero name: Volt Shock (later on however)

Description: Michael is fit, not too toned, but fit enough. Standing at 6’ he is of average height, with reddish-brown fur with light grey ‘socks’ and ‘gloves’. His eyes are hazel, with brownish hair. However, his fur can change colour, with him often going with electric yellow-bluish fur, when he fights crime.

Personality: Friendly and approachable during his civilian time, Michael however prefers to be alone when fighting crime. Hard working in both of his lives, but he carries guilt from what he did in his teen years.

Gear: He doesn’t have a costume when starting out, going for more an outfit put together from different bits of bulletproof and light gear. In his early days his main weapon was a cattle prod, modified to deliver a shock enough to stun criminals. Later he uses darts/crossbow, to attack criminals form a distance.

Abilities and Powers:

Colour change: Not really a power and more an ability, Michael has the ability to change his fur colour. Limited though, he has only tried between his normal fur colour, a dark grey during his teens, and the electric yellow-bluish fur colour he uses when fighting crime.

Basic Hand to Hand: His main fighting style, he has a grasp on basic hand to hand. He mixes it up with has prod weapon.

Basic First Aid: Just like with the hand to hand combat, Michael has a basic grasp on first aid, enough to patch himself up should he receive any injuries while fighting.

Slight resistance to electricity: He has slight resistance to electricity, it’s unknown how he has this, but it allows him, to work with his weapons and gear easier, in case someone grabbed them and used them on him.


Weaknesses:

Due to being a mainly normal guy taking to crime fighting, he doesn’t have invulnerability, with knifes and guns being effective on him, just like on most people. His tendence to work alone, could be seen as a weakness as well.

Bio:

Michael had a fairly alright childhood growing up, living in a town and generally not having a lot to complain about. Save for the usual kid stuff they complain about. But still he had a rebellious phase, falling into a bit of a bad crowd.

At the age of 14 he had joined a gang and became a hoodlum. It was around this time, he learnt of his abilities to change his fur colour, going for a dark grey, in an attempt to be ‘edgy’. While apart of the gang he aided in theft, vandalism and break-ins, generally committing crimes as part of that gang.

For a few years he kept it up, almost being caught by the police a number of times. By the age of 19, he started to have second thoughts. Pausing when he realised just what excatly was he doing with his life. The fact that only a few members had been caught, it wouldn’t take long before he too would be caught. And having guilt starting to build up over what he did, and the things he stole.

At the age of 22 he left his hometown, moving into the city of Neolythia. Getting a small place to rent in the suburbs. Getting a part time job, he started to work, hoping that his past life would catch up. Sadly for him, that never would happen, no matter how much, he couldn’t bury the guilt. Having an almost run in with the Police Chief sent the guilt into overdrive.

By the age of 25, he couldn’t bare it any more, as he turned to the path of a vigilnate, using his ability of fur colour changing to turn his fur electric yellow-bluish. However he did want to join the police, but changed his mind in case they found out of his past. So, taking to the path, he set out fighting crime in the suburbs, all in trying to make up for his own actions during his teen years.


Additional Info:

He has respect and fear towards Whitescar and Chief Faircross. Knowing that the two as well as the police are trying to deal with the rise of crime and supervillains. But his fear for them, mainly comes from his past, and what would happen if it got into the open.

He will deny that he is a hero, using ‘I’m no hero, not like the others. I’m just a man who is making up for some mistakes.’ as a quote, when he becomes a little more open.
