So I've been working on this one off and on for a couple of weeks now, and it's finally gotten to a state where I both don't feel like working on it anymore and think it looks pretty cool. Like I'm generally happy with how this turned out

This piece came from a lot of different places, but lately I've been thinking a lot about time and how I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for it to keep moving forward. I really like my current situation. I have a great, supportive family, some amazing af friends, and a fantastic boyfriend, and I don't want any of that to go away.

In one sense it won't. Our lives are kind of a series of snapshots lined up to seem like we're progressing forward endlessly. Each moment is a memory along our path.
But in another sense, once you move from one snapshot to the next, there's no going back to the one before.

I'm not the same person now as I was a year ago, a month ago, even a day ago. I've gone through experiences that have changed me. I'm not sure if I'm ready to keep changing quite yet, so I kind of wish I could just stop it right here and just get used to everything before I have to move on.

Yeah, ok. I don't have any more thought provoking nonsense to say, so I'm just gonna wrap it up.

tl;dr - Time is a really trippy concept.
