Arrrag, it tickles. Makes me look like a grizzly bear. I do like the look of fur on other guys though so I thought I'd try it.
BTW, I fixed the broken MP3s in my gallery if anyone wants to listen to my band, SYN. I plan on leaking out a few more tracks of our 3rd upcoming CD. These tracks are pre-finalize mix. Once finished, you can get for free at download.com Music is heavy so bang yer tail !

One hardcore metal band that comes to mind in Hatebreed -> my favourite!
What about bands like Lordi and Slipknot who dress up for their shows in monster costumes and whatnot?
But like you said, spandex and eye liner are somethings that must go! LOL

I'd love to. My email is tydog420[at]gmail.com if you got a furr pic to show :)
Gotcha' SVT's are fucking awesome....I'd love to own one, but I can't afford one. But yeah...they've got a good growl to them.
Usually, I use an Ibanez Phat Head bass overdrive for growl and distortion. it has a switch which add's top-end harmonics as well, which is cool for getting that DD Verni (of Overkill, and Bronx Casket Company) clicky attack....cut's through the mix nice for really fast stuff...especially grinding black metal. Sometimes I use the GK's drive channel for a darker, fuller drive on slower grooving parts.

It's a goth Explorer w/ built on UHF transmitter. Heavy as fuck compared to my others but I can throw it high in the air while it rings an open note and it's an easy shape to catch on the way down. It has a special type of strap made of some non sticky stiff rubber that kind of holds its shape (with locks of course) so you can catch it and it flips over your shoulder in the same motion. The dude from Slipknot designed it I seem to remember.
Yay for the bass player! My fav instrument, clef and line.

I myself grow The Beard out every winter season. Otherwise I keep it in a Van Dyke year-round. Unlike most others, I am a true RL "furry": my scalp starts at my forehead and ends at my ankles. I couldn't wear a shirt like yours in public any more. I'm sick of Scully and Mulder knocking on my door, asking about the Bigfoot sighting...
