Thanks, that's a very useful comment. I'd been trying to achieve the concept-design look for a while, mostly using digital methods. I'd sort of overlooked crayons, but now you mention it, they may be worth experimenting with.

i've never liked those things. They are HUGE!!!!! and the tacky colors in the lights are just wrong. Seriously, blue-tinted reverse lights? Tinted blue mid-lenses between the headlight reflector and the poly shield? Bleh! Awesome drawing tho

Sit in the back seats and tell me it's big. You could fit a cat in the back seats, but you would have to cut it up first. It's a little bigger physically than your average of Japanese cars, because, as I said, they wanted it to do well in the States. I still have no idea why rice-boyz want to tune anything front-wheel-drive, but as far as that goes, this isn't too bad of a car to do it to. Bit girly for my tastes, but I do like the reflex paint (this colour is called rotor-glow) and the bluetint lights are something a bit different, although they only really fit well on the kalapana black, frost white, still blue, and liquid silver coloured cars. The blue lights clash with red or orange bodywork.

yah. i guess what i mean is, seeing one of these go by, its not BIG as in "x inches long, y inches wide" but it just LOOKS big and heavy cuz its kinda bulbous or somethin.

One of my instructors in my high performance class I took had an older-gen Eclipse that he converted to RWD for drag. Using the stock block, and a huge ass turbo, he got it up to 900+ horsepower. And that thing sounded mean.

I bet it was a beast.

The trouble is that a chassis designed to be dragged around from the front, usually is not going to feel right, if it's being shoved around from behind, especially by 900 horses. There's a few exceptions to this, but generally if you want a rear-wheel-drive car, it's best to get a rear-wheel-drive car.

Yea, that's true. But, then again, I think this guy was a little messed up in the head anyway. :P I know there's movies of it up on YouTube, as well as some of the other cars he's done. I think the company is called Slowboy Racing, I don't remember exactly.

Wow, the shapes very well done! Especially considering no tracing etc.

It's hard to find time to make mistakes when the whole thing only takes 4 minutes.

Eclipse is ownage!

For a 4banger this car has some power.

its true, they look kinda bulky and their turn radius isn't the best but when your at higher speeds, their handling is impecible!
the accelerating could be sped up but in the streets your still doing better than 90% of the cars out there.

This car as the V6 would have much better acceleration and even more power by turboing it.

I still love the looks and the style and not to mention the sunset pearlescent is a very stunning color for this car!

I LOVE MINE!

As long as you don't go thinking it's the best car ever, like a lot of Eclipse owners.
