Im ignoring EQG completely. I dont plan on making their relationship a test subject/ scientist kind of thing. more like a guardian/mentor role for Twilight. My reasoning behind why she is slow to show a sympathetic side towards Jacob is because he is already sad and hates having others pity or feel bad for him. Her idea is going to be more of a help him help himself kind of thing. Maybe slightly help steer him in the right direction.
