The second of my characters, Aqunos Saphiron, I'm super happy to get this ref, and all props to the wonderful
ProblematicPossum for helping me breath life into him.
Aqunos (Or Quno, as he's called casually) is an interesting character, and in a lot of ways a mirror of Vel.
Quno is an underwater/swamp naga, capable of amphibious breathing and extremely powerful swimming. The horns are a sign of magical potency in his breed of naga, allowing his talent in nightblade magic with training, and an inherent skill at water manipulation via magic.
Quno works as an assassin in most worlds, either as your more stereotypical hitman in modern settings, or as a nightblade (a rogue who mixes his stealth with shadow magic) in medieval, combined with his aquatic nature and lengthy, crushing coils.
He's well aware of his appearance, and how many people are likely to fawn over his coloration, and he's more than willing to use it to get his way.
He's a rough person to deal with, campy, crude, vain, and hedonistic, life is all about pleasure and the enjoyment of going through it. Oftentimes he acts cruel or mean to mammals, due to misfortune stemming from racism towards Naga in his childhood, though those who stay with him despite his rough edges regardless of how warm or cold their blood runs find that he really does just want friendship and people to like him for him, and can become a sweetheart to those that matter.
is that a Jojo reference?
