If the name wasn't already a giveaway, she's a cherry farmer, or rather owns a whole cherry orchard. Agricultural ponies kinda give their trade away with their names, i.e. the Apple family (Applejack, Big Macintosh (aka Big Mac), Granny Smith and Applebloom most notably), Cherry Jubilee, the Pear family (Grand Pear, Pear Butter (i.e. the Apple sibling's maternal half, Pear Butter, aka Buttercup being their mother), etc. There was even a minor pony named Strawberry Sunrise (I snickered at the fact there was a character named after a cocktail) who, unsurprisingly, had a thing for strawberries.

Cherry Jubilee, from her two appearances on the show, is most evidently a southern belle-type character.
