The planet Nova's story takes place on has 6 moons and at least one of them is full every night meaning Luna involuntairy HAS to transform EVERY night.
She can transform at will during the day though.
She actually has 4 different forms: Fully human, half wolf (as pictured here), full wolf (looks like a red wolf 3 times normal size) and monsterwolf, a 3 metre tall gorilla like muscular primeval wolf that mixes the strongest parts of her human /primate side and wolf / canid side.

Luna would rather not wear clothes in her half wolf form (her fur covers up her "naughty bits" anyway) the clothes she does wear are enchanted by her wizard husband and transform with her.
Fully dressed as a human, unrestrictive as a half wolf and just a collar as a full wolf and monster wolf.
