Notice how even the caution barriers were starting to be washed away. Back in the days before the bypass you were out of luck if you needed to drive under this bridge after a heavy rain.

Neat perspective, though I question if you were laying down in the rain when you took this. Or you take these pics after it had stopped? Would explain the lack of water droplets on the lens

I actually put the camera on the ground after it'd stopped raining. But I focused it manually before I put it on the ground so that it wouldn't try to focus on the ground. I angled it slightly upward by placing the lens cap underneath
