In an on-going project to convert all my old fanwriting into digital form, I recenlty revised a piece about collecting fanzines, called "Beaver on my Back." When it was originally published, in Beardmutterings 4 in 1983, I did two cartoons to illustrate it. This was the title illo.

The article will be republished later this year, in a modern zine. I've added both the old cartoons, but have removed the title from this one. The new title is a nice font added in Photoshop, and a whole lot spiffier than this hand-lettered job. But the art itself will be identical.
