Well, that was really friggin' cute. ^^ I'm a sucker for stuffed n' sleepy preds, especially Croc-o-boy.
I don't have too much to say about this one, except that it's simple, really well written fluff that puts me in a good mood. I'm really curious to see how the next few chapters play out, since Shy and Waylon are much more comfortable around each other.

And for me, especially when it involves a creature who is incredibly dangerous when he wants to be. The detail of Shy being mere inches away from Croc's claws really resonates with me, and shows just how deep their trust goes.
I'm pretty sure it will be. With or without the belly-kink stuff, I imagine their interactions will be adorkable. ^^

I'm very glad you caught that detail, because I feel the exact same way. It's a non-verbal way to demonstrate trust and how close people are getting, especially when one is as dangerous as they are.
