That was the point of crossover.
Actually, if you try analyze the original show, it makes apparent that somewhere there is some heavy industry present - without steel smelting and mass production Manehatten wouldn't be possible. And seems that humans or someone antropomorphic do xist around.. well, they have minotaurs
