Yooo nice Spyro! Hoping to get that remake now that I've played Crash recently, also if you're a fan of Spyro, especially the early games and haven't heard or seen this yet then check out the statue First4Figures is making of Spyro, it's ALMOST as awesome as your artwork lol
Do I want there to be an original Spyro trilogy remaster: Yes
Do I expect there to be: Probably not
We likely would have heard more concrete evidence then rumors if the title was in the works. At least, if it were going to be published in time for his anniversary next year.
A guy can hope, but I won't be gravely disappointed if it doesn't happen.

Vicarious Visions have stated that since the Crash remake released, they have been been pounded with requests for a Spyro remake. So they are taking notice of Spyro's sudden surge in attention when the Crash remakes were announced. Also, take note of the First4Figures. Why would they put so much time an effort into a Spyro statue, specifically designed to look like the original? Something tells me that we'll be getting some info soon.
I just have my doubts that they could do a full remaster of the original Spyro trilogy in time for Spyro's anniversary. Game development can take years, and while they COULD reuse a few assets from the original (voice acting and such), I'm skeptic they could reach the deadline and have the product worthwhile.
Well, think about it for a second. When the Crash remake was announced, it was already about a few months into development. Also bare in mind that it took MONTHS for Sony and Activision to reach an agreement which can explain why Crash didnt make it in time for his 20th anniversary. A lot more goes into making a game than just developing it. Such as, planning a release date, who is making the game, how big of a team do you need, what consoles will it be released on, etc. Who's to say that Spyro wont make it to his with how well Crash is doing.
Just let me keep my skepticism on the matter.
