Doodle of Forest. Not sure if im liking the digitigrade hooved legs. I'm gonna have to experiment with them bc theyre a pain in the ass to draw and always look kinda awkward.

I personally think you did a pretty awesome job on the legs as digitigrade ^^. And generally prefer them on horses than human style feet (for my preference lol). I have seen a different "design" for the legs with different proportions that shortens the lower feet to help keep them more "directly under".

The artist is Trogan and he's done a fair bit of anatomy work/drawings on anthro horse anatomy concepts, so perhaps that is something you could look at if you're not liking this style of legs, but still would like "hooves" :).

oh yeah, that's true ^^. But I mean more just looking at the concept and making it your own, rather than directly "copying". I think we all can/should learn from each other. When I see a way that someone draws something and like it, I try to remember it and learn from it, and do it in my own way :). And personally, I like to know that someone likes what I draw enough to try and learn from it, so long as they're not trying to copy it directly. But I digress.. do what feels right to you in the long and short of it.
Man I really need to stop going on and on and on when I comment... x-X Sorry!

Trogan actually did a blog on Anthro Anatomy for a little bit! Here's one of the studies on unguligrade legs: http://anthroanatomica.blogspot.com.....ure-2.html?m=1
