Everybody loves the V-8 Interceptors, some replicas out there. Same with the Pursuit Sedans (I actually like those better than the Interceptor.)

Though My heart pumps "blue" blood, I would love to be the first person to make the first replica of the "Night Rider" Holden HQ Monaro V-8 Interceptor. Get to beat up a GM on purpose too :-P

That was a pretty sweet looking Monaro, shame it got wiped out in that chase :)

OH WOW!! One of my favorite cars of all times...from one of my favorite movies of all time. Mad Max was one of the main reasons why my fursona lives in a post apocalptic world. I can still remember the lines from the first movie.

Its an Australiand Ford Falcon

oh okay I never could tell, the movie never had a shot of the name or make if there is one on the car, just that MFP vinyl. But the rear end looks like an AMX (Rambler) - who went out of business in the late sixties, just like GM is now.

as far as I know it's an aussie Falcon GTX from '73. there is a nice model kit out there since early 2008, which shows soemthing between ealry first movie and beginning of the second. but it's easily convertable. a german modeler went crazy on it, doing the variant shortly before the blow-up. ^^

I live in Australia mate, have seen plenty of these Falcon hartops around, the only difference in the 3 similar models was the front headlights and indercators, it's either an XA, XB or an XC Falcon coupe, can fit some massive rubber under those rear gaurds too :)

ah, okay. I have that info from a modeler's magazine I can't seem to find anymore; it's possible I remembered some details wrong. which is suckage, because meanwhile I purchased said model kit and would like to modify it like the guy who did the mag article. :P

I hope to be able to work on it one day. due to space restrictions at home most model kits are unbuilt and might stay so for a longer time. I did photograph two of them in our backyard, though, along with three 1:18 scale model cars. ^^

I love building scale model cars, spraying them with an airbrush and doing all thedetail work is fun, especailly when it becomes finished.

yeah. I need some space of my own. half of the shelf space would be filled with model cars. :)

I saw cars like that once. There is a drag strip not a mile from my grandmother's house. I could walk down and spend the day watching races. And at night come out the street cars.
