Few creatures match the nobility of the Gryphon. They combine the features of two of the most striking natural animals, with the might of the lion and the free spirit of the eagle. However, many fatalities and maulings occur to those foolish enough to think nobility equates with a friendly temperament.

A notable exception would be the Lesser Gryphon, a very close relative. These crepuscular creatures are very adept survivors that skulk about human habitation and subsist off practically anything. They harbour a particular fondness for people which is generally not returned as they are seen as filthy pests, but for those who actually try keeping them they make intelligent, loyal companions.



at work I tried doodling something that turned out more pigeony, and then got turned into a pigeon-rat, and then bestiary text just started appearing in my mind begging to be fleshed out. So. PIGEONRAT. :D
