Thought I'd practice using my tablet on this specific image here I gotta say that line art-wise, I'm very proud on how it turned out. Of course, I did trace over this one -> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23800659/ from when I drew it with the mouse before. It really did make a difference, though. The line work does turn out a lot cleaner, and I don't have to worry about shrinking my images down so small to hide certain imperfections anymore Plus things got done a lot~ faster for the line work process, compared to using the mouse before.
The only thing I'm struggling with on my tablet, so far, is the colouring process. Both the eraser and pen on the tablet pen causes a lot of lagging for when I colour and/or erase. Plus the size of each tool are a lot smaller for when I go to fill in certain spaces that didn't get filled in with the fill tool. So I had no choice but to use the mouse to do most of the colouring in order to increase the size of each tool to a comfortable size to work with.
The other thing I'm struggling with is when I go to draw a line down somewhere and it would turn out too light, or too dark, from what you can probably tell on certain areas of the image. No matter how much I tried to fix them, they would either turn out the same or turn out worse. So I just leave them the way they are and/or fill in the very light line works using a different tool.
So anyway, about this image. From what's stated in the link I provided basically explains what this image is all about. There will be a full sequence some time in the future. Still struggling to stay focused for when it comes to drawing, and still struggling on having the time to draw ^^;
Done on Sai with both a mouse and Intuos Pro tablet.
