A rather fascinating species of Shreem common in many countries around the world, the Hopeless Shreem gets it's name from their comical nature. Although in possesion of claws the hopeless Shreem in every recorded case have been found to lack the ability in anyway use them. Closer studies have found that unlike other Shreem's claws that are made up of a high concetrate of calcium, are instead closer related to Keratin ( Human nail ) denying the use. This fact may be better lit upon based on the very fact that Hopeless Shreem were bred for water field farming near the start of the eighteenth century before taking their place as common trade. Hopeless Shreem require a constant need of care from their owners due to their rather needy behaviour. Although a higher level of maintenance and constant grooming of the claws are required when owning this shreem the rather laxed yet affectionate nature of the Hopeless Shreem is quite the appeal to the owner wanting a little more challenge to ownership. This Shreem is deemed unfit for work and under no circumstances should be allowed into any trade. Daily clipping of the claws is required every several to eight days. If unfit to clip claws properly it is required to take the Hopeless Shreem to a specialist in grooming. Vioalators against these laws will be prosecuted to the full rights of the shreem protection rights clause.
