1. This is very pretty - the style, the backgrounds, the colors, everything.
2. Just let the poor guy in! I know there's a real dilemma with him being a carnivore (and this comic has done a great job of presenting that), but he's had a bad enough couple days already. At least let him present his case!
3. Rask is adorable :). Also, I love the way you've made him comfortable with carrying things in his mouth; adds a little more 'animal' to him.
