Taking a break from Second Life for awhile. At least until the folks who run the system get their shit together.

TLDR: The stuff I make keeps getting eaten by server glitches. I can't talk to people half the time for the same reason.

It's not fun anymore. My first life's getting busier now, too, so one more excuse to log off, at least until Linden Labs gives the chat subsystem the complete overhaul it so desperately needs.

I'm lucky, though, in that I've gotten to know a few people well enough to exchange email addresses, so it's not a total loss.

And yeah, I may not be back in a week, but I will be back.
