And this is basically why humans keep invading the Herimash lands but never even tried to wage war against the Sa'jiir. :P

a little but not really the conquistadors had to deal with natives that out numbered them more than 10 to 1 and by statistics along with the fact that these were a people who were warriors with a nomadic life style we can assume that on average a bit more ripped. Guns germs and steel that's what won

I am writing a story about an anthro lupine race of people who are enslaved for the resources on their planet by hoomams. It's hard to fear 8 foot tall 409 lb muscle bound lupine anthropomorphs when you have plasma rifles and PK cannons that can turn their planet into shards...

Funny how that works out. Though to be honest, with the experience I've had with dogs and cats, I wouldn't be judging a beastie like that by size alone.
Oh, and is there any chance of showing the non war-torn homelife of these two species..? Surely there's a zone of peace and non-citylife to share?

Oh, cats are still extemely dangerous here, especially when in their natural habitat (deep forests). Lizards are WAY worse though, quick, strong and up to 3 meters tall! It's a good thing they are generally very peaceful! ^^
