A father is someone who will never let go of your bike until you're ready.
There are three reasons for this pic:
It's Father's Day tomorrow
Also tomorrow, I'm doing a sponsored 50-mile bike ride for charity (wish me luck! ^.^)
And most importantly, I've been meaning for a long time to draw and write a bit more about Zed and Zena. I wanted to start with Zena, actually, I've had a picture planned for months, but it's Father's Day tomorrow, so let's start with Zed! There's going to be an accompanying journal all about him going up in a minute!

Yay! Like everything I draw, it was done without reference pics, so I guess it did come out quite well, considering. And the big-boy bike is a new thing for Zee-Zee too, and it's gonna take a little while to get used to - it's so much higher off the ground than a trike, and more wobbly too!
Zee-Zee's uncle, who's in: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/663610/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/851972/ < That story.
How cute and fitting for the occassion, Zoom. My only regret is not having gotten a chance to see it sooner. *cush-cush*
Dad's really are something. Especially when you look back and realize how all that stuff you thought they did was mean was, in actuality, the nicest things they could've ever done for you. They may not be the most nurturing of the parental pair, but they do have just the right way to spice things up and encourage you to do your best.
I hope you did well on your charity ride. Always good to rasie money for a worthy cause. Yep, yep, yep!
