That is very much a possibility.

Just curious, but does it happen in your world that pred races sometimes eat other pred races, but pretend that they've eaten a prey race to avoid trouble?

Hm, not really, no. In both of my modern settings, it wouldn't cause any "trouble" to eat another pred, other than getting a few funny looks ("why bother hunting another pred when there are so many prey around?") Plus in The Den setting, preds usually eat in private anyway. And in Fia's setting, predators are not quite as common, but eating another pred probably wouldn't cause any more trouble than eating a prey race (in fact, it might even cause less.)

Ah ok, thought it would be somewhat of a social faux paux to eat a fellow predator.
