Unexpected successes in bitmap painting.

I honestly didn't think I had this level of ability in me. Apparently - when I have the appropriate reference material to hand - I can replicate things with terrifying levels of detail. I just need to be able to dedicate the time and focus to a piece in order to be able to generate these results.

If only time and focus came so easily.

Strangely I drifted back away from bitmap painting after producing this. I really need to do it more often. It's something I really want to get the hang of but I find it difficult to produce this level of finish with unobserved artwork (i.e. artwork drawn from the imagination and not a life study).
