This 7-page comic is a commission for  backlash, using his vixen character "Kira Ayril". With work stretching back to the beginning of 2009, I've finally completed the artwork a few weeks ago. I held off posting these pics until the artwork was delivered on disk to the commissioner, containing the full-size, uncompressed artwork, as well as almost 400 megabytes of various test and work-in-progress material that went into this project, plus full-size versions of older artwork I did of his characters.

Those familiar with the character already know that there will be mud and sucked-off shoes ahead :) Those not familiar with Kira should be aware that she seems to have a bad-luck fairy of sorts following her around, as she's always wandering into muddy places wearing shoes (usually flip-flops, but I suggested ballet flats for this comic) wholly inadequate to the task of staying on her feet while walking through it, resulting in a long history of shoes lost amidst various mud holes littering her locale. This premise was the central theme of the commission, and I filled in a plausible backstory to lead her into and out of it. Being that she's by herself and there really isn't much for her to say, I chose to do this comic without dialogue, much like "Mudlark Mentor". The comic begins with a pleasant bike ride through a local park, that starts to go awry when her chain fails.
