I was the only one at work to know about it but as I tell people, they want to go. I think the boss and his family will go now so maybe the whole shop will shut down for the day. Less than 2 hour drive straight South is part of the area that will have the greatest length of totality, 2 minutes 40 seconds, we are in South central Iowa. A once in a lifetime event!

Oh I hope you can get turned loose that day. They say standing in a full eclipse is quite the ethereal experience. People that experienced one will hunt for the next one if they can.
I'm super excited over it. Our farm here is smack dab in the path of totality. We will attempt a cook out by the creek if all goes well. *crosses fingers*
