Mrs. Hilde Johnston is a dedicated and cheerful presence in the Felton Underground school system, despite the fact that the Felton School Board tries to undermine her at every turn. Truth be told most of Hilde's funding comes from the Underground community, and the school is operated out of an expansion of her own home. Even with the head of education up top being a bitch and showing Hilde no respect she still manages to smile and provide a proper education for the children of the Underground.
That isn't to say she doesn't have her oddities, of course. Everyone knows that Nordic Trolls are hardly shy, and her form of dress is one of the sticking points with the school board. In her defense there are many XTs who go entirely nude, so a bit of thigh isn't exactly something most students haven't seen. On top of that, she's very dedicated to making sure that every student is not only well educated, but well fed and happy. It's not uncommon for her to personally oversee homemade school lunches and dinners for every student under her care, usually on her own dime. Needless to say they're much more appealing than the designated government-approved meals the Felton School District provides their surface establishments.
